June 23, 2009 - Whoa Bama!!RIP Ed McMahon I just remember him from Star Search! Ed is dead at 86. Not a bad run for a man... and he met TONS of celebrities. John and Kate... wha? This is a great example to set for your children: Get married, have twins. Relize twins aren't enough so take supplements and hormones and have 6 more. Call television station and open your home and private lives to critisim. Make choices but then decide you aren't too sure you like those choices you made. Back out of marriage and ruin your 8 kids' lives. Nice going as*holes. June 1, 2009 - June!!Summer Jam... This year's summer JAM! is totally Lady GaGa's "Poker Face" but I also downloaded her entire album from iTunes and it's actually pretty good for a summer jam sort of album. Favorites: "Poker Face", "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)", "Paparazzi", and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich". She could use a new stylist ... I think her style is a little "amateur". What do you think? "Missing" Jet?? On the radio this morning I heard there is a "missing" Air France jet. Well.. is it missing or did it crash? If it's missing, was it hijacked? Should I not be in a building in midtown right now? "228 passengers and crew on board disappeared from radar and was assumed to have gone down in the ocean early Monday morning -- possibly after being struck by lightning, officials said." Yikes. 
Obamas come to NYC for theater...They also had dinner at a very fancy restaurant in the West Village called Blue Hill. I heard that they got a "standing ovation" when the entered the restaurant but were "left alone" while they ate their meals. Well, that's nice. I'm glad New York is a destination for celebrity. That is why I live here afterall. And isn't that just what the Obamas are? Celebrity? When Cheney made his speech last week about torture and how the current administration is "doing nothing" to protect our country from terrorists, he re-ignited the fear that the last 8 years of the Bush administration put into us. He also set the "blame machine" in motion for something BIG and BAD to happen. If something BIG and BAD does happen (nuclear war?) in the US then Cheney and the Republicans can say: "I told you so!" And so the Obamas went to dinner near "Ground Zero". That's what we have from them. Really they've done nothing but provide a sort of eye candy for the people of our nation about just how NOT RACIST we are. Oh and they coudn't let Prince Harry get all the press! Frank Rich's column in the NY Times this Saturday says a mouthful. We need some sort of verification from Obama and his administration that they are doing SOMETHING to protect us. Even if it's a little press release or a small speech about Pakistan (which is about ready to explode in case you haven't noticed). Make us feel good about how you are handling things Mr. Obama. Make us aware that you are doing something other than just serving as a trophy for a national conversation about race and how special we all are for doing such a great thing 7 MONTHS AGO!
